We are looking for a motivated and mechanically minded Soil Transfer Operator to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for processing and maintenance of hydro excavation waste through our soil transfer unit. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where flexibility, troubleshooting skills, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate soil transfer machinery to process hydro excavation waste efficiently.
• Making sure all paperwork and reports are accurate and on time.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including pumps and electrical components, when
broken down to minimize downtime.
• Work in all weather conditions and be prepared for a physically dirty job.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation and maintain safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and fix equipment, including pumps and electrical components.
• Class 2 is essential with class 4 license if available.
• Ability to operate a wheeled loader.
• Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing tasks and job demands, this may include
job hours and ability to work weekends.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and in a dirty, outdoor environment.
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions closely.
