Are you a hands-on problem-solver with a knack for keeping industrial gear running like new? We’re on the lookout for an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team and take charge of maintaining and repairing UHP (Ultra High Pressure) systems and blasting/painting equipment.

InterGroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial, coatings and infrastructure. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic issues with UHP pumps, hoses, lances, and associated blasting tools
- Performing scheduled maintenance and safety checks on paint spray systems and blast gear
- Troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic components
- Ensuring equipment downtime is minimized and performance is maximized
- Supporting field crews with urgent repairs and maintenance needs
- Keeping accurate maintenance logs and reports

The technical stuff you'll need includes:
- Proven experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance – ideally with UHP and coating systems
- Strong understanding of high-pressure systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Clean, full and current Class 4 driver's license is preferred
- Ability to work independently and under pressure!
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
