InterGroup are New Zealand’s Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial, coatings and infrastructure. You may not have heard of us, but we do a lot – and we’ve got aspirations to be number one in every area we deliver. That’s where you come in, are you up for the challenge?

We are building a BRAND NEW team of Infrastructure Operators covering these key tasks:

• Sweeper Driver Operators (Class 2 license required)
  Take charge of operating our road sweeping vehicles to keep Wellington’s streets clear and tidy. You'll be driving through the city with precision, making sure public spaces are free from debris and grime.

• Sumper Driver Operators (Class 4 license required)
  Operate sump trucks to manage stormwater systems and help prevent flooding and blockages. This is a vital role that supports environmental health and public safety.
• Waterblasting Operators
  Use high-pressure waterblasting equipment to remove dirt, grime, and graffiti from city surfaces. This is a great role if you like physical work and visible results at the end of the day.
• Litter Bin Operators
  Help keep our public spaces clean and welcoming by collecting waste from litter bins across the city. You’ll be out and about, making a real difference every day

• Labourer

Support a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks—ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being part of a hardworking crew.

• Supervisor

Lead and coordinate a team of operators and labourers. Ensure daily operations run smoothly, work is completed to a high standard, and health and safety protocols are followed.

The Shifts

We have vacancies within our DAY and NIGHT shift teams. Whether you are a night owl or a morning person, we have shifts to suit. You must be available to work one weekend shift per week.

The shifts days are Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday.

What we’re looking for:

• Full driver’s licence (with required classes for driving roles)
• Reliable, safety-conscious individuals who enjoy hands-on work
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• A team player with a can-do attitude
