About the role

As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery across a range of coatings projects, helping drive performance, consistency, and quality at a national level.

You’ll work closely with clients, lead skilled teams, and coordinate people, resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the successful delivery of multiple coatings projects across New Zealand

· Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and trusted partnerships

· Oversee project scope, programmes, budgets, forecasting, and cost control

· Manage project claims and commercial requirements accurately and efficiently

· Allocate resources effectively and keep teams aligned to project priorities

· Lead, mentor, and support coatings specialists to deliver their best work

· Identify risks early and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track

· Ensure full compliance with health, safety, quality, and operational standards

· Provide clear, timely reporting to senior leaders and key stakeholders

· Proven success in project management within coatings, construction, industrial services, or a related field

· Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and claims management

· The ability to build credibility quickly with clients, teams, and stakeholders

· Confident leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and developing people

· Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving capability

· Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach

· A hands-on style with the ability to balance site presence and strategic oversight
