Our workshop team plays a critical role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and on the road. Right now, we are recruiting for one Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Auckland team.
About the role
In this dynamic, hands-on position, your primary focus will be to ensure our fleet is serviced, maintained, and operating at peak performance.
Hours of Work: Our normal hours of operation are between 6am and 10pm, 7 days per week. This role is a 40 hours per week position.
You will be responsible for:
Servicing and maintaining heavy diesel vehicles and specialist equipment
Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical and electrical systems
Repairing, maintaining, and testing diesel engines and related components
Conducting preventative maintenance and safety checks
Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
Completing job documentation accurately and efficiently
What we are looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience working on heavy vehicles and diesel engines
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to health and safety best practice
Class 2–5 Driver Licence (advantageous but not essential)
Reliable, motivated, and ready to hit the ground running
