Power wash technicians wanted
Intergroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial and coatings and infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power Wash Technicians to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to carry out surface cleaning, restoration, and maintenance using specialised high-pressure and soft-wash systems across residential, commercial, and industrial products. Power Wash Technicians operate professional washing equipment and associated systems to clean and remove contaminants, impurities, and surface build-up from buildings, structures, and external surfaces. The role requires the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles and specialised HPWJ equipment while ensuring all work meets customer expectations and complies with the company’s health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate specialised high-pressure and soft-wash equipment and machinery used to clean and remove impurities from surfaces, structures, and building materials.
• Set up, monitor, and operate pressure washing systems including pumps, hoses, pressure control systems, and associated cleaning equipment.
• Assess surfaces and site conditions to determine appropriate cleaning methods, pressure levels, and treatment solutions.
• Safely operate company vehicles and transport power washing equipment, tools, and materials to and from work sites.
• Carry out routine inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance of washing equipment and associated components to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures when operating high-pressure equipment and working in residential, commercial, or public environments.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high professional standard.
What we’re looking for:
2 years or more relevant work experience or Level 4 relevant qualification
The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Good physical fitness.
Strong practical and teamwork skills.
A good understanding of health and safety issues.
Be a team player and motivate others in your team.
Pay conditions
Min $28 per hour to a maximum of $34 per hour depending on skills and experience
Working location
You will be required to work in Auckland, Taranaki, Bay of Plenty, and Waikato regions
Hours of work
Minimum 30 hours of work per week is guaranteed
