Looking for a role where no two days are the same?
InterGroup is looking for an experienced CCTV Operator to join our Auckland team. Working across a range of drainage and pipeline inspection projects, you'll operate specialist CCTV equipment to assess underground assets and provide accurate, high-quality inspection data for our customers.
This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise with practical field work. You'll work across construction, infrastructure, commercial, and local authority projects throughout the Auckland region.
About the Role
As a CCTV Operator, you'll be responsible for inspecting underground pipelines and drainage networks using specialist CCTV equipment. You'll identify defects, record inspection data, and produce accurate reports that help customers make informed maintenance and renewal decisions.
You'll also support pipeline cleaning and investigation work where required, working alongside experienced operators to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CCTV inspection equipment across a variety of drainage and pipeline projects
Inspect underground pipelines and accurately identify defects and asset condition
Record inspection data and complete detailed reports using industry software
Operate and maintain CCTV vehicles and associated equipment
Liaise professionally with customers and site representatives
Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections
Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
Support pipeline cleaning and other operational activities when required
About You
You'll have:
Experience operating CCTV pipeline inspection equipment
A good understanding of drainage networks and pipeline inspection practices
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports
Good computer literacy and experience using inspection software
A full New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence
A strong commitment to health and safety
Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in traffic control, drainage, civil construction, utilities, or underground infrastructure would be highly regarded.
