CCTV TRAINEE / LABOURER – HAMILTON
START A CAREER IN A SPECIALIST INDUSTRY.
We’re looking for a reliable person to join our Hamilton team and train as a CCTV Operator.
You’ll work alongside experienced operators inspecting underground pipelines using specialist CCTV equipment. No previous CCTV experience is required – we’ll teach you the technical side of the job.
The role is hands-on and physical, with plenty of time on site. You’ll help set up equipment, prepare work areas, assist with pipeline inspections and complete general labouring tasks.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Assisting with CCTV inspection of underground pipelines
Setting up and operating equipment under the guidance of experienced operators
Preparing sites and pipelines for inspection
Recording inspection information and learning how to identify defects
Completing general labouring and site support work
Working around roads, construction sites and other active work areas
Maintaining equipment and keeping vehicles and work areas tidy
Following safe work practices and learning industry standards
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A current NZ driver's licence
A reliable and practical approach to work
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on outdoor work
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
Basic computer and digital skills
Comfortable working in dirty, wet or confined environments when required
A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
EXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS AN ADVANTAGE:
STMS or traffic management
Drainage, civil or infrastructure work
CCTV, pipeline inspection or surveying
Operating vehicles, plant or specialist equipment
Construction or general labouring
