Position: Offshore Fabric Maintenance Technician
Location: Offshore New Zealand – Raroa and Wellhead Platform
We are currently seeking experienced and safety-conscious professionals for an offshore role on the Raroa and Wellhead Platform. If you have a strong background in surface preparation, protective coatings, and rope access, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• High-pressure water blasting using 40,000 PSI UHP equipment
• Abrasive blasting and protective coatings application
• Tank cleaning, including confined space entry
• Rope Access work (IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3) for access in challenging or elevated areas
• Strict adherence to offshore safety standards and procedures
Requirements
• Proven experience in blasting and painting within offshore or industrial environments
• Competence in using 40K UHP equipment
• Current IRATA Rope Access certification (Level 1 or above preferred)
• Current OEUK/OGUK
• Current BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
• Current Working at Heights certification
• Current Permit Receiver qualification
• Current Safety Observer certification
• Current Confined Space Entry certification
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding offshore conditions
• Ability to pass rigorous drug and alcohol testing
• Right to work in New Zealand
