Intergroup is one of New Zealand’s leading infrastructure and industrial services companies. We are currently seeking an experienced Blaster Painter to join our team for both yard-based and site work in Taranaki, with the flexibility to travel across the North Island and offshore when required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform blasting and painting duties to a high standard
- Apply coating systems using conventional and pressure pot spraying methods
- Complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Work effectively as part of a team and maintain good communication
- Travel to various job sites across the North Island and offshore as needed
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of coating systems
- Experience in painting (conventional and pressure pot spraying)
- Blasting experience
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Willing and able to travel for work, including offshore if required
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing
