Coatings Supervisor – Auckland
Are you an experienced coatings professional with a passion for leadership and client engagement? We're seeking a highly skilled Coatings Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Auckland.
As a Coatings Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing industrial coatings projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. You will lead a team of applicators and technicians, working closely with clients to deliver exceptional results in fabric maintenance and protective coatings.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day coating operations across various industrial and infrastructure sites
- Ensure all works are performed in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of coatings applicators and support staff
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial coatings and fabric maintenance
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Current NACE Level 2 certification (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of surface preparation and coatings application techniques
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to health and safety best practices
