We’re on the lookout for motivated Driver Operators to join our Hamilton team — someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in, work hard, and help keep our communities looking their best.
As a Driver Operator, you will be responsible for operating a range of fleet vehicles including flushing units, sucker trucks and supporting day-to-day infrastructure works. This role requires flexibility, a practical attitude, and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the job.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same.
Shifts: You’ll need to be flexible and available for day, night, and weekend rosters, depending on customer requirements.
What we are looking for?
· - Current Class 4 driver’s licence
· - Experience as a Driver Operator
· - Comfortable using technology systems
· - Good geographical knowledge of Hamilton and surrounding areas
· - A positive attitude and willingness to “muck in” with the team
· - Commitment to safe work practices
· - Reliability, teamwork and a strong work ethic
· - Experience operating road sweeping or vacuum trucks is a bonus — but we’ll provide full training for the right person.
