InterGroup is looking for a motivated Industrial Operator to join our team across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
This is a hands-on role working across a range of industrial sites and projects. You'll operate specialist equipment including high-pressure water jetting and vacuum loading equipment, while also getting involved in industrial cleaning, maintenance, and other operational work.
You'll work alongside experienced operators, learning new skills and working on different sites and projects across the region. If you're practical, reliable, physically fit, and enjoy getting stuck into the work, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Operate high-pressure water jetting and vacuum loading equipment
Support industrial cleaning and maintenance activities
Assist with equipment set-up, operation, and pack-down
Work on a variety of industrial and commercial sites
Carry out hands-on work in confined spaces and at heights where required
Complete equipment checks and basic maintenance
Follow site procedures and company health and safety requirements
Work as part of a team to complete jobs safely and efficiently
Travel occasionally to support larger projects in other regions
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in industrial services, particularly high-pressure water jetting or vacuum loading
A Class 2 driver's licence (Class 4 advantageous, but not essential)
Good physical fitness and willingness to work in challenging environments
A strong commitment to health and safety
A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
A positive, practical approach and willingness to learn
The ability to work well as part of a team
Industrial experience is an advantage, but we're also interested in people from other hands-on backgrounds who are keen to learn and develop new skills.
