Lead Financial Excellence and Drive Business Performance
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Financial Controller to join our Finance team. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the financial management of the business, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, effective cashflow management, and the delivery of meaningful financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on finance leader with strong technical expertise, excellent commercial acumen, and the ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Manage cashflow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations and growth.
Ensure the integrity of financial information through strong internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Lead and develop the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and broader finance teams.
Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, advisors, and other key stakeholders.
Support strategic projects, business initiatives, and commercial decision-making through financial analysis and insight.
Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial outcomes.
About You
You are a capable and influential finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a commercial mindset. You have experience operating in complex environments and can effectively balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
You will bring:
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance leadership position.
Experience in using MicrosoftD365 is highly advantageous
Demonstrated experience with financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing cashflow, working capital, and financial performance.
Experience leading and developing finance teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A continuous improvement mindset with experience implementing process and system enhancements.
Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
