We’re looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Infrastructure team in Dunedin.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to get things done. You’ll be responsible for coordinating crews, allocating work, keeping projects moving, and building strong relationships with our clients.
You’ll be out in the field, working alongside your team and making sure our people have what they need to deliver safe, high-quality work.
What you’ll be doing
Lead and coordinate crews across a range of infrastructure projects
Allocate daily work and resources to keep jobs running efficiently
Communicate directly with clients, understanding their needs and keeping them informed
Monitor job progress, productivity and quality
Identify issues early and find practical solutions
Ensure work is completed safely and in line with company and client requirements
Support and develop your crew, creating a positive and accountable team culture
Assist with planning, scheduling and ensuring the right people and equipment are in the right place at the right time
What we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who is organised, practical and confident leading people. You’ll know how to manage a busy day, prioritise competing demands and communicate clearly with both your crew and clients.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
Previous experience supervising or leading teams within infrastructure, civil construction or a similar environment
Strong people leadership and communication skills
The ability to allocate work and manage changing priorities
Confidence dealing directly with clients and stakeholders
A practical, solutions-focused approach
A strong commitment to health, safety and quality
Good planning and organisational skills
Ideally Class 4 Driver would be highly advantegous
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes ownership, leads from the front and gets the best out of people.
