Infrastructure Team Leader

InterGroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial and coatings and infrastructure. You may not have heard of us, but we do a lot – and we've got aspirations to be number one in every area we deliver.
We are seeking a proactive and organised Infrastructure Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day delivery of one of our contracts in Tauranga. This role is key to ensuring operational efficiency, high service standards, and positive client relationships across the contract.
You will support our frontline teams, assist with the rostering, liaise with clients, and handle the general administration required to deliver a successful infrastructure service.
About the role:
Supervise our operational teams and being the first point of contact for queries.
Assist with the staff rosters to ensure efficient service delivery
Work with our clients, handling enquiries, feedback, and service issues
Ensure contract requirements and service level agreements are met
Carry out general administrative duties, including reporting, record keeping, and compliance documentation
Monitor performance, health & safety, and quality standards
and many more. Two days won't be the same in this role!
Are you the right fit?
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role ideally or you might have the right attitude to step up into this role.
Strong time management skills
Confident communicator with experience dealing directly with clients
Exposure to administrative duties
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Practical, hands-on approach
Knowledge of health & safety practices (desirable)
A proven ability to work unsupervised, while being part of a team
An eye for detail and a focus on continual improvement
And a good sense of humour!
