Driver Operator – Class 4

About the Role
We are seeking a Class 4 Driver Operator to join our South Island operations. This is a varied, hands-on role that goes beyond driving. You will be involved in a range of operational activities including hydro excavation, cesspit cleaning, pipe jetting, and other specialist services.
The role includes a mix of local and out-of-town work, with night shifts required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
Operating specialist vehicles and equipment, including combo units, hydro excavation, vacuum units, and pipe jetting equipment
Carrying out manual and physical work on-site as part of daily operations
Working across wastewater, stormwater, and contaminated waste environments
Travelling out of town as required to support projects across the South Island
Working safely and collaboratively as part of a team
About You
You will ideally have:
A Class 4 driver licence and confidence operating large vehicles
Experience in hydro excavation, drainage, or related industries (preferred)
Ability to drive a Road Ranger gearbox
A strong work ethic, good physical fitness, and a reliable approach to work
Flexibility to travel and work night shifts when required
