In this varied, hands-on role, you'll operate specialist vehicles while supporting a range of essential infrastructure services, including road sweeping, sump maintenance, and general operational work.

About the Role
As a Driver Operator, you'll operate Class 2 and Class 4 vehicles across a variety of infrastructure activities. Your work will include road sweeping, sump cleaning and maintenance, and assisting with other manual operational tasks to help keep local roads and public spaces well maintained.
This is a role that combines driving with physical work, so you'll need to be comfortable getting in and out of the truck and working as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Class 2 and Class 4 vehicles safely and efficiently
Carry out road sweeping across scheduled routes
Complete sump cleaning and maintenance activities
Assist with manual labour and general operational tasks as required
Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks
Complete job records and required documentation
Follow all health and safety procedures
Represent InterGroup professionally while working on customer sites
About You
You'll have:
A full Class 4 driver's licence
Experience operating heavy vehicles or specialist equipment
Good physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual work
A strong commitment to health and safety
A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in infrastructure, civil construction, road maintenance, or similar industries would be beneficial but isn't essential.
